Psalm 25:4-5 (NLT)
Show me the right path, O Lord;
    point out the road for me to follow.
Lead me by your truth and teach me,
    for you are the God who saves me.

In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

— Romans 8:26-27 (via begins)

Comparing your spiritual progress to others doesn’t make any sense for a lot of reasons. One big one is that when we look at ourselves, we see the mess behind the scenes, but when we look at other people, we see what they choose to put on display. There is a huge gap between what is put on display and what is actually going on.
